Apple Pendant? Tim Cook, Eddy Cue Also Reportedly Throwing Weight Behind Another Mystery Device, Says This Analyst

Apple Inc. (NASDAQ:AAPL) is reportedly working on a new screen-free fitness tracker and an AI-heavy pendant to broaden its wearable lineup beyond the Apple Watch. Apple Tests Screen-Free Fitness Tracker The screen-free health and fitness tracker will resemble Whoop’s bands, according to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman. The tech giant has reportedly developed prototypes, but nothing is certain yet. The device could have a fabric band with sensors that monitor heart rate and other health metrics. According to Gurman, former Apple CEO and now chairman Tim Cook and services chief Eddy Cue are "throwing their weight behind the product." This device will have a camera and could hang around the neck or attach to clothing. The columnist reported that development has been postponed, but if it works, it could give Siri more "visual data" to process. Apple Expands Health Tracking Beyond the Watch The latest Apple Watch model has features that overlap with competitors. This includes readiness scores and biological-age estimates. The company is currently testing a redesigned Health app in iOS 27.2. In its latest earnings report in July, Apple noted $7.88 billion in revenue from its Wearables, Home and Accessories segment. This figure is up from $7.40 billion a year earlier. Price Action: On Tuesday, Apple closed at $339.75, up 0.23%. The stock was trading at $339.84 in after-hours trading, up 0.026%, according to Benzinga Pro.
