AbbVie Receives European Commission Approval Of RINVOQ For Children With Active Polyarticular Juvenile Idiopathic Arthritis Aged Two And Older

AbbVie has received European Commission approval for RINVOQ to treat active polyarticular juvenile idiopathic arthritis (pJIA) in children aged two and older who have not responded adequately to, or are intolerant to, one or more DMARDs. The approval is based on data from the Phase 1 SELECT-YOUTH study and adult rheumatoid arthritis data. Additionally, a new oral solution of RINVOQ has been approved for use in these patients, expanding its indications in the EU to 11 across various immune-mediated inflammatory diseases.
