Arrowhead Announces Interim Results From Ongoing Phase 1/2a Study Of ARO-MAPT, Investigational RNAi Therapeutic Being Developed As Potential Treatment For Alzheimer’s Disease And Other Tauopathies

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ARWR) announced interim results from its Phase 1/2a study of ARO-MAPT, an investigational RNAi therapeutic for Alzheimer's disease. The study demonstrated a mean cerebrospinal fluid total tau reduction of 73% on Day 105, with individual reductions reaching up to 85%, indicating the potential for quarterly dosing. This marks the first clinical validation of Arrowhead's TRiM™ platform for delivering siRNA across the blood-brain barrier.
