Arrowhead’s ARO-MAPT Validates Brain Delivery Platform, Driving Significant Tau Suppression

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals, Inc. (NASDAQ: ARWR) announced interim results from its Phase 1/2a study of ARO-MAPT, an investigational RNA interference therapeutic for Alzheimer's disease. The TRiM™ platform successfully delivered siRNA across the blood-brain barrier, achieving a mean cerebrospinal fluid total tau reduction of 73% on Day 105, with a maximum reduction of 85%. This clinical validation supports the potential for quarterly dosing of ARO-MAPT.
