Arrowhead Reports First Clinical Validation Of TRiM Platform As ARO-MAPT Achieves Up To 73% Mean and 85% Maximum Tau Reduction

Arrowhead Pharmaceuticals (NASDAQ: ARWR) announced interim results from its Phase 1/2a study of ARO-MAPT, achieving a mean cerebrospinal fluid total tau reduction of 73% and a maximum reduction of 85% after subcutaneous administration. This marks the first clinical validation of Arrowhead's TRiM™ platform for delivering siRNA across the blood-brain barrier. The results support the potential for quarterly dosing of the investigational RNA interference therapeutic aimed at treating Alzheimer's disease and other tauopathies.
