Ascendis Pharma Announces Positive Long-Term Data for TransCon PTH in Hypoparathyroidism

Ascendis Pharma reported pooled Phase 2 and Phase 3 data showing TransCon PTH (palopegteriparatide) was associated with statistically significant improvements in kidney function and normalized 24-hour urine calcium in adults with hypoparathyroidism, sustained for up to five years. At the final trial visit, 98% of patients were independent of active vitamin D and 95% were independent of therapeutic calcium doses.
