American Vanguard has announced its acquisition of the U.S. rights to crop-protection brands Caparol, Evik, Prime+, and Agri-Flex from Syngenta, with the transaction expected to generate over $7 million in annual net sales. Although financial terms were not disclosed, the deal is anticipated to be accretive to earnings and improve American Vanguard's leverage ratio over the next year. The acquired products cater to various agricultural markets, including cotton, vegetables, sugarcane, pineapple, tobacco, and specialty crops, enhancing the company's portfolio and supporting its sales goals of $100 million in new product sales by 2030 and $600 million by 2028.
