Braskem Nears Debt Restructuring Agreement

Braskem is in advanced discussions with creditors and shareholders to restructure roughly $11 billion of debt. The proposal may include an equity offering and a concurrent debt-to-equity swap, alongside a potential capital injection of $4 billion to $5 billion. The company has not officially commented on the negotiations.
