Bird Construction Announces Over $1.1 Billion in New Awards and Multiyear Agreements

Bird Construction announced more than $1.1 billion in new project awards and multiyear agreements on November 4, 2026. The awards include contracts of up to five years for mechanical and electrical maintenance and turnaround services at Canadian industrial and energy facilities, plus electrical work on an Alberta healthcare redevelopment. Its subsidiary Jacob Bros also won public infrastructure projects in British Columbia, while other awards cover nuclear, wind energy and district energy facilities. CEO Teri McKibbon said the wins strengthen the company’s integrated services and industrial maintenance portfolio.
