Beam Global Agrees To Acquire Drone Tech Firm ScoutDI For ~$24M

Beam Global has agreed to acquire drone technology firm ScoutDI for approximately $24 million, which will be paid in a mix of cash and Beam common stock. ScoutDI specializes in drone systems and AI-enhanced software for industrial inspections, serving various sectors including maritime and energy. Following the acquisition, Beam plans to manufacture ScoutDI's products in its U.S. factories and expand its market presence in Europe and the Middle East using ScoutDI's existing facilities.
