Biomea Fusion, Inc. (NASDAQ: BMEA) reported Phase 1 clinical trial results for its oral GLP-1 candidate BMF-650, demonstrating mean weight reductions of 1.5% to 3.2% at Day 29 across multiple cohorts, compared to 0.1% for placebo. The trial showed no severe or serious treatment-emergent adverse events (TEAEs), and mild TEAEs were reported in only 12.5% of participants during the highest dosing cohort.
