Bending Spoons SpA (NASDAQ: BSP) saw its shares increase by 40.2% to $53.10 following a $330 million investment from Berkshire Hathaway. Other notable gainers included Liquidia Corp (NASDAQ: LQDA), which rose 30.7% to $35.05 after a global settlement with United Therapeutics, and Verastem Inc (NASDAQ: VSTM), which climbed 13.2% to $8.43 due to positive early trial data and a CEO transition. Overall, U.S. stocks were mostly lower, with the Nasdaq Composite dropping around 200 points.
