Anthony Pompiano Reiterates Bitcoin Has 'No Top' Because the Dollar Has 'No Bottom,' Bets BTC Will Go 'Way Higher'

Anthony Pompliano, CEO of ProCap Financial Inc. (NASDAQ:BRR), reiterated his long-held view on Monday that Bitcoin’s (CRYPTO: BTC) future growth is tied to an increase in the money supply. ‘Dollar Has No Bottom’ In a Fox News interview, Pompliano said Bitcoin does not depend on the CLARITY Act, but is shaped more by global liquidity and fiat money printing. He further emphasized the U.S.’s burgeoning national debt, currently over $40 trillion, and argued that Bitcoin’s value has no ceiling as long as the dollar continues to devalue. “Bitcoin has no top because the dollar has no bottom,” Pompliano reiterated. The Treasury said last month it would at least double the maximum size of its buyback operations from $2 billion to $4 billion, targeting securities in the 10- to 20-year and 20- to 30-year maturity ranges. He maintains that Bitcoin will eventually reach $1 million due to this play. Bitcoin reached an intraday high of $87,363 on Monday, its highest since late January, as the SEC’s push to build a regulatory framework for cryptocurrency, including tokenized U.S. stocks, outweighed the CLARITY Act’s failure. Price Action: At the time of writing, BTC was exchanging hands at $85,736, up 5.13% in the last 24 hours, according to data from Benzinga Pro. ProCap Shares rose 1.47% in after-hours trading. The stock closed 8.24% higher at $4.07 during Monday’s regular trading session.
