Antitrust Allegations Against Cal-Maine Foods and Egg Industry

The Department of Justice has filed an antitrust lawsuit against Cal-Maine Foods, Hickman's Egg Ranch, and Versova, alleging that they coordinated for nearly three years to manipulate egg price benchmarks. The companies have denied wrongdoing and no trial is anticipated.
