City Holding Company (NASDAQ: CHCO), a $6.7 billion bank holding company, has authorized a share repurchase program for up to 1,000,000 common shares, representing approximately 7% of its outstanding shares. This decision allows management to buy back shares in open market transactions at prices beneficial to continuing shareholders, with no set time limit on the program. The new authorization rescinds a previous plan from January 31, 2024, under which 822,634 shares were repurchased by March 25, 2026.
