CME Group Set To Introduce Baseball Futures, Effective Oct. 12

CME Group announced the launch of the world's first Baseball futures contracts, set to begin on October 12, pending regulatory approval. These contracts will track the CME FutureSports Performance Indexes (CME FSPI), which encompass statistics from the 30 professional baseball teams, starting with the 2026 Postseason and the four teams in the League Championship Series.
