Connect Biopharma announced positive topline results from its Phase 2 study of Rademikibart as an add-on treatment for acute exacerbations in adults with Chronic Obstructive Pulmonary Disease (COPD). The treatment reduced the rate of treatment failure by 81% and new moderate to severe COPD exacerbations by 85% compared to placebo over four weeks. Additionally, Rademikibart led to a 100% reduction in emergency department visits and hospital admissions for new exacerbations, and it was well tolerated with no new safety signals reported.
