Canadian Solar Inc. has signed an agreement through its e‑STORAGE division to supply and commission a 100 MW/200 MWh battery energy storage system for OX2's Muswellbrook Solar Farm and Battery project in New South Wales, Australia. Shipments are set to begin in Q3 2027, with commercial operations expected by Q3 2028. The project includes a 20-year long-term service agreement and aims to enhance grid reliability by converting solar energy into a firm, contracted supply, addressing the region's transition from coal power.
