EXCLUSIVE: Draganfly Secures $10 Million Strategic Capital to Scale Drone Manufacturing

Draganfly Inc. (NASDAQ:DPRO) is strengthening its financial position and production capabilities as commercial and defense demand for drones expands across the U.S., Canada and international markets. The company said Monday that Unusual Machines Inc. (NYSE:UMAC) and a leading U.S. investment fund will each invest $5 million in Draganfly, bringing the total strategic investment to $10 million. Draganfly Targets Production And Capability Expansion Draganfly plans to use the net proceeds to accelerate development of advanced strategic capabilities and provide working capital as demand for its products grows. The investment comes as Draganfly expands commercial and defense activity in the U.S. and Canada, including recent procurement milestones with the Canadian Armed Forces and continued growth in its U.S. defense operations. Chell said the investment focuses on aligning complementary capabilities rather than the size of the transaction. He said the relationship positions the companies to meet industry requirements at scale in domestic and international markets. Unusual Machines Backs Domestic Drone Manufacturing Unusual Machines CEO Dr. Allan Evans said the U.S. and its allies increasingly view the ability to manufacture drones, components and autonomous systems at scale as a strategic capability. Evans said Unusual Machines’ investment will support Draganfly’s production growth and deepen the companies’ supplier relationship. Draganfly said the investment also marks an important step in the development of the U.S. and international drone supply chain and broader industry ecosystem. Offering Priced At $5.35 Per Share The registered direct offering will cover 1,869,159 Draganfly common shares at $5.35 per share, generating approximately $10 million in gross proceeds before placement-agent discounts and offering expenses. The offering price matches Draganfly’s closing share price on Friday, Sept. 25, 2026. Jett Capital Advisors LLC and Northland Capital Markets are serving as joint lead placement agents. Draganfly expects the transaction to close on or about Sept. 30, 2026, subject to customary closing conditions and required regulatory approvals, including approval from the Canadian Securities Exchange and notification to Nasdaq.
