This initiative is part of a broader critical minerals processing facility designed to enhance North American supply chains and reduce reliance on foreign processing. The study indicates nickel and cobalt recoveries of 97% or higher, with potential for cobalt hydroxide to serve as feedstock for Electra's cobalt refinery.
