Vertical Aerospace Opens Aircraft Assembly Facility At Its Flight Test Center At Cotswold Airport In The UK

Vertical Aerospace has opened an Aircraft Assembly Centre at its Flight Test Center in Cotswold Airport, UK, supported by a £1.5 million investment, expanding its operational space to approximately 130,000 square feet. This facility marks a significant step towards the certification and commercial production of its Valo eVTOL aircraft, with the first certification-conforming aircraft assembly expected to begin in Q4 2027. The Centre aims to support initial customer deliveries and has the capacity to assemble over 25 Valo aircraft annually during early production, while plans for a full-scale production facility are anticipated to be announced in Q4 2026.
