Freenome Unveils SimpleScreen Lung Enabling Patients To Be Screened For Lung And Colorectal Cancer Through Single Blood Draw, Using Two Independently Validated, Indication-Specific Tests

Freenome, Inc. (NASDAQ: FRNM) has launched SimpleScreen Lung, a novel offering that allows patients to be screened for both lung and colorectal cancer through a single blood draw using two validated tests. The SimpleScreen Lung test demonstrated 85% sensitivity at 50% specificity and a 99.8% negative predictive value for lung cancer in its intended use population. This initiative aims to enhance screening participation, particularly among the over 10 million eligible individuals for lung cancer and 60 million for colorectal cancer who are not currently up to date with standard screening methods.
