Gilat Satellite Networks has entered a $28 million agreement with Peru's Pronatel to upgrade broadband connectivity in the Ica region, with project completion expected by mid-2027 followed by a seven-year operational phase. This initiative will enhance internet speeds by 20 times for 116 public institutions and provide free Wi-Fi in 30 public squares. The upgrade aims to improve access to essential digital services such as education and healthcare, building on Gilat Perú's experience in deploying large-scale telecommunications networks across diverse environments.
