Hudbay Minerals Announces Snow Lake’s Proven And Probable Reserve Mine Life Has Been Extended By An Additional Two Years To 2043

Hudbay Minerals has extended the mine life of Snow Lake's proven and probable reserves by two years, now projected to last until 2043. The updated five-year average annual gold production is expected to reach 185,000 ounces, a 37% increase, with total life-of-mine gold production rising 60% to 2.8 million ounces. Additionally, mineral reserve estimates have increased to 27 million tonnes containing 2.0 million ounces of gold, and cash costs are projected at $821 per ounce, maintaining strong operating margins.
