HPE Receives $1.2B Order From Closely Held Cloud Infrastructure Provider Vultr To Deploy AMD Helios AI Racks At Its U.S. Cloud Data Centers

Hewlett Packard Enterprise (HPE) has secured a $1.2 billion order from Vultr, a cloud infrastructure provider, for the deployment of AMD Helios AI racks at its U.S. data centers. This marks HPE's first order for the AMD Helios system, which is designed for high-performance AI workloads. The collaboration builds on nearly three years of partnership between Vultr and Juniper Networks, now part of HPE, and aims to address the growing demand for AI infrastructure. The Helios racks feature advanced AMD technology, including 72 GPUs per rack, optimized for high-density model training and inference.
