Interactive Brokers (NASDAQ: IBKR) has announced that clients can now transfer their existing cryptocurrency holdings into their IBKR-linked crypto accounts, allowing for lower-cost trading and access to global markets without the need to liquidate their assets. The platform offers competitive trading costs, with commissions ranging from 0.12% to 0.18% and a minimum order fee of $1.75, significantly lower than many crypto platforms that charge up to 2.00%. Eligible clients can transfer supported cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, Ethereum, and Solana directly into their accounts, streamlining the management of digital and traditional investments.
