Itaú Unibanco Reports 3Q26 Recurring Managerial Result of R$ 12.6 Billion

Itaú Unibanco reported a recurring managerial result of R$ 12.6 billion in 3Q26, up 6.2% year over year, with a return on equity of 23.6%. Client margin grew 6.6%, partly offset by a 10.2% increase in the cost of credit. The bank largely maintained its 2026 financial guidance while lowering its expected effective tax-rate range.
