KBR's Purifier Technology Selected By SABIC Agri-Nutrients For A New Ammonia Plant In Jubail, Saudi Arabia; Terms Not Disclosed

KBR has been selected by SABIC Agri-Nutrients to provide its Purifier technology for a new ammonia plant in Jubail, Saudi Arabia, with a capacity of 3,500 metric tons per day, contributing to an annual production of 1.2 million metric tons of ammonia. This project will increase SABIC AN's urea production capacity from 4.8 million to 7.4 million metric tons per year, aligning with Saudi Arabia's Vision 2030 industrial development goals. The contract includes technology licensing, basic engineering design, and proprietary equipment, marking KBR's largest ammonia license by capacity in the Middle East and Africa.
