KNOT Offshore Partners Terminates Proposes Acquisition Offer For Partnership

KNOT Offshore Partners LP (NYSE: KNOP) has terminated discussions regarding an unsolicited acquisition proposal from Knutsen NYK Offshore Tankers AS, which aimed to acquire all publicly held common units of the Partnership for cash. The decision was made by the Conflicts Committee of the Partnership's Board, which included only non-KNOT-affiliated directors and sought independent financial and legal advice to evaluate the offer.
