Kopin Awarded Phase I Small Business Innovation Research Contract From U.S. Government For MicroLED Display Technology

Kopin Corporation (NASDAQ: KOPN) has been awarded a Phase I Small Business Innovation Research (SBIR) contract from the U.S. Government to develop new full-color MicroLED display technology. This contract follows a $15.4 million IBAS contract awarded in September 2025, enhancing Kopin's MicroLED design and manufacturing capabilities. The new SBIR contract aims to create a second MicroLED display for soldier applications, focusing on improved brightness, visual performance, and lower power consumption.
