Lufthansa Reports Q3 2026 Results and Lowers Full-Year Operating Profit Outlook

Deutsche Lufthansa reported third-quarter 2026 adjusted EBIT of €1.41 billion, up 6% year over year and above analysts’ €1.37 billion estimate. Revenue increased 9% to €12.24 billion, and net profit rose 30% to €1.26 billion, supported by cargo and maintenance demand and cost discipline. The airline lowered its full-year adjusted EBIT outlook to €1.7 billion–€2.0 billion from a previous upper limit of €2.2 billion, citing higher fuel costs and the late stage of the fiscal year; it said the revised range is in line with market expectations.
