U.S. State Department Approves $2.1B Patriot Missile Sale to Ukraine

The U.S. State Department approved a $2.1 billion sale of up to 500 Patriot PAC-3 interceptor missiles to Ukraine, including spare parts, logistics and support. Lockheed Martin is the principal contractor. The purchase is funded through international donations via the JUMPSTART program and European Union loans, with no U.S. funds involved.
