LENSAR Agrees To Terminate Merger Agreement With Alcon Research

LENSAR, Inc. has agreed to terminate its merger agreement with Alcon Research due to anticipated challenges in obtaining necessary U.S. regulatory approvals from the Federal Trade Commission. Both companies concluded that it was in their best interest to end the agreement, as the conditions for closing were unlikely to be met by the deadlines of April 23, 2026, or July 23, 2026. LENSAR will retain a $10.0 million deposit related to the merger.
