LENSAR Agrees To Terminate Merger Agreement With Alcon Research

LENSAR, Inc. has agreed to terminate its merger agreement with Alcon Research due to anticipated challenges in obtaining necessary U.S. regulatory approvals. The decision was made mutually by both companies, as they believe it is in their best interest given the unlikely fulfillment of closing conditions by the merger's deadlines of April 23, 2026, and July 23, 2026. LENSAR will retain a $10.0 million deposit associated with the merger agreement.
