MAIA Biotechnology Says First US Patient Dosed In Phase 2 THIO-101 Trial Expansion Evaluating Telomere-Targeting Lead Candidate, Ateganosine, In Third-Line Non-Small Cell Lung Cancer

MAIA Biotechnology has announced the dosing of the first U.S. patient in its Phase 2 THIO-101 trial expansion for ateganosine, a treatment for third-line non-small cell lung cancer (NSCLC). This trial expansion is supported by a $2.3 million grant from the National Institutes of Health (NIH) and involves the activation of three sites in the U.S. MAIA has received FDA Fast Track designation for ateganosine, which has shown promising overall survival results in previous trial phases.
