Seres Therapeutics, Inc. (NASDAQ: MCRB) will present preclinical data on SER-428, an investigational oral liquid live biotherapeutic product aimed at reducing bloodstream infection risks in critically ill patients, at IDWeek 2026 from October 21-24. The formulation is specifically designed for patients unable to take oral capsules, such as those on feeding tubes. Preclinical studies indicate that SER-428 significantly decreased the gastrointestinal presence of clinically relevant pathogens in colonization models.
