Spectral AI, Inc. has secured $31.7 million in non-dilutive funding from the Biomedical Advanced Research and Development Authority (BARDA) to enhance its AI-powered DeepView burn imaging system. The company will also contribute an additional $9.7 million towards the development costs. This funding is part of a larger contract with BARDA, which has committed a total of $54.9 million to date, with a potential value of up to $150 million, as Spectral AI awaits FDA market authorization for the DeepView System.
