Meta Brings Its New Enterprise AI Push to the White House

Meta Platforms Inc. (NASDAQ:META) CEO Mark Zuckerberg is expected to join President Donald Trump and House Speaker Mike Johnson for an AI-focused lunch Tuesday. Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei will also be there, CNBC reported. The two executives now compete for the same corporate customers. META stock is moving. See the real-time price action here. Nvidia Corp. (NASDAQ:NVDA) CEO Jensen Huang and OpenAI President Greg Brockman are also among the expected attendees, according to Reuters. Johnson said the talks will focus on balancing innovation and oversight. “We do not need a moratorium. We do not need to jump in and hyper-regulate this, because we’ll lose the race to China,” he said, per Reuters. Meta’s Enterprise Pivot The White House lunch comes right after Meta launched Meta Enterprise Platform on Monday. The new unit will sell Muse, Meta Business Agent and coding tools to companies. Meta hired MongoDB Inc. (NASDAQ:MDB) CEO CJ Desai to run it, and MongoDB shares fell more than 18% Monday on the news. On Tuesday, Meta followed up with Muse for Small Business. The product connects the agent to tools like Asana, Zoom, Intuit and Salesforce‘s Slack. About a third of early Muse users already connect it to some kind of business account, Meta VP Vishal Shah told Axios. CNBC’s Jim Cramer thinks the enterprise push could change how Wall Street values Meta. In a social media post, he said Meta should now be treated as an “enterprise company” and added, “That’s how powerful Muse is." He argued the shift explains “how an 18 times multiple goes to a 24-25.” Cramer also pointed to Desai’s move as proof that enterprise software has become Meta’s “lodestar." Meta shares closed Monday at $715.62, down 4.79%, about 8% below the 52-week high of $779.82.
