MIRA Pharmaceuticals Reports Positive Preclinical Results for MIRA-55 in Chronic Inflammatory Pain Model

MIRA Pharmaceuticals, Inc. announced positive preclinical results for MIRA-55, an oral synthetic cannabinoid analog aimed at treating chronic inflammatory pain. In a three-week study, MIRA-55 demonstrated significant reductions in pain hypersensitivity and inflammation, showing effects comparable to Celebrex without evidence of tolerance. The company is progressing towards an Investigational New Drug (IND) submission for MIRA-55, expected in the first quarter of 2027.
