Marvell Technology, Microsoft, Oracle Collaborate For Open Compute Project To Standardize NIST FIPS 140-3 Integrated HSM For Cloud, Hyperscale Data Center Infrastructure

Marvell Technology, Microsoft, and Oracle have formed a collaboration under the Open Compute Project to standardize a NIST FIPS 140-3 Level 3 integrated hardware security module (HSM) for cloud and hyperscale data center infrastructure. A new working group has been established to create open specifications for secure key caching and cryptographic key lifecycle management at the server level, aiming to enhance security, reduce latency, and improve scalability for cloud workloads.
