Morgan Stanley's application for a spot Bitcoin exchange-traded fund (ETF) has been officially approved by NYSE Arca, with the fund set to be listed under the ticker MSBT. Bloomberg analyst Eric Balchunas indicated that this announcement typically signals an imminent launch. Coinbase Inc. will act as the prime broker and custodian for the ETF, while BNY Mellon will manage cash and administrative functions. Morgan Stanley currently holds over $729 million in various Bitcoin ETFs.
