FDA Clears Satellos Bioscience’s IND Application For Forazapadin For Treatment Of Facioscapulohumeral Muscular Dystrophy

Satellos Bioscience Inc. has received FDA clearance for its IND application for forazapadin, aimed at treating facioscapulohumeral muscular dystrophy (FSHD). The company plans to start a Phase 2 clinical study in FSHD in Q4 2026. Additionally, the FSHD Canada Foundation will provide up to US$5 million in non-dilutive financing for the clinical development of forazapadin.
