ServiceNow Stock Trending: Employees Build AI Agents with Nvidia Oversight

ServiceNow Inc. (NYSE:NOW) is trending Friday after the company introduced on Thursday the third generation of its employee-centric AI harness and major updates to ServiceNow EmployeeWorks, along with an Nvidia-backed AI Passport for governing AI agents. ServiceNow stock is holding steady today. Where are NOW shares going? EmployeeWorks Speeds AI Agent and Tool Creation ServiceNow said most employees still can’t build the AI their jobs need because of IT backlogs and fragmented tools. EmployeeWorks now includes Productivity Assistants for persona-based work, which launch first for HR Service Delivery, along with Research and Calendaring assistants out of the box. Employees can also build Productivity Routines, agents that run proactively in the background. For developers, ToolSmith, trained on more than 75,000 APIs, builds tools for EmployeeWorks assistants from natural-language instructions, which ServiceNow says cuts work from days to minutes. "AI’s real promise is to close the gap between intention and action," said Jacqui Canney, chief people and AI enablement officer at ServiceNow. The Salvation Army Australia said its AI assistant now resolves nine out of 10 questions without escalation and has given back more than 5,000 hours to staff. INRY said EmployeeWorks cut its internal request submission times by 60%. ServiceNow Pairs the Launch With an Nvidia-Backed AI Passport for Governing Agents The EmployeeWorks features are in controlled availability, so the rollout is limited at first. In a companion announcement, ServiceNow introduced AI Passport, a signed credential that sets what an AI agent is allowed to do at runtime. Nvidia Corporation (NASDAQ:NVDA) is a design and launch partner, and agents can check their passports in environments such as Nvidia’s OpenShell. AI Passport is expected in the fourth quarter.
