Anthropic CEO Dario Amodei has argued that the technology is advancing at an "exponential" rate and warned that safety measures need to keep pace. He said the industry should slow down rather than stop developing AI altogether. Amodei has also called for independent third-party evaluators to assess AI companies’ safety practices and urged companies to work together on common safety standards.
