UBS analysts have maintained a 75% success probability for Ocular Therapeutix's Axpaxli in treating wet age-related macular degeneration (wAMD). This assessment comes after EyePoint Pharmaceuticals announced that its late-stage trials for the competing drug Duravyu did not meet the primary endpoint. Ocular Therapeutix's management stated that the competitor's trial failure supports the continued biologic activity of their tyrosine kinase inhibitor mechanism.
