Oklo To Advance Groves Isotope Production Facility As Part Of US DOE’s National Reactor Innovation Center Nuclear Energy Launch Pad Initiative

Oklo Inc. has been selected by the U.S. Department of Energy's National Reactor Innovation Center to advance its Groves isotope production facility, known as Groves 2 Forge, as part of the Nuclear Energy Launch Pad initiative. The facility will initially focus on producing lutetium-177, an isotope used in cancer treatments, and aims to transition to commercial-scale production with the necessary U.S. Nuclear Regulatory Commission licenses. This initiative builds on the experience gained from Oklo's Groves Isotope Test Reactor in Texas.
