Nexans Selected as Preferred Supplier for Redeia's Mallorca-Menorca Interconnection Project

Redeia's subsidiary, Red Eléctrica, has selected Nexans as the preferred supplier for the Mallorca-Menorca 3 interconnection project, aimed at improving electricity supply security for the Balearic Islands. The agreement marks the start of a six-month engineering phase for a new 132-kilovolt high-voltage alternating current link, leading to a future Engineering, Procurement, Construction, and Installation (EPCI) contract.
