Research Frontiers Inc. (NASDAQ: REFR) announced that its licensee, Gauzy Ltd., has received court approval for a comprehensive debt restructuring, following a creditor vote where 98.96% supported the plan, including all secured lenders. This restructuring clears the way for Gauzy to restart production of SPD-SmartGlass technology, which allows for precise control of light and heat in various applications. Gauzy is a key player in the manufacturing of SPD light-control film in Germany and the SPD emulsion in Israel.
