Reported Earlier, REGENXBIO Presents Three-Year Sura-Vec Data Showing Majority Of NPDR Participants Achieved Greater Than 2-Step DRSS Improvement, No Vision-Threatening Events

REGENXBIO reported that the majority of participants with Non-Proliferative Diabetic Retinopathy (NPDR) in the Dose Level 3 group achieved a greater than 2-step improvement in the Diabetic Retinopathy Severity Scale (DRSS) three years after receiving a one-time sura-vec gene therapy treatment. Importantly, there were no vision-threatening events or additional treatments required for diabetic retinopathy among these participants. Additionally, no intraocular inflammation (IOI) was observed with the use of short-course prophylactic topical steroids.
