SES AI’s Battery Manufacturing Facility In Chungju, South Korea Secures ISO 9001:2015 Certification For Quality Management System

SES AI Corporation has achieved ISO 9001:2015 certification for its battery manufacturing facility in Chungju, South Korea, enhancing its quality management system as it aims for an annual production capacity of approximately one million cells. The certification was granted by the Korea ESG Certification Body after an independent assessment. Additionally, recent changes in South Korean export control standards for secondary batteries are expected to provide SES AI with competitive advantages in exporting its NDAA-compliant pouch cells.
